Sanilac CMH is a CARF accredited public provider of managed mental health and developmental disability services. With Genesee, Lapeer and St Clair counties, Sanilac CMH is a member of Region 10, a four county public mental health alliance which provides mental health services to persons eligible for Medicaid benefits under a capitated funding agreement.
Services are available to Sanilac County residents with symptoms of mental illness or developmental disability who are defined as eligible under the Michigan Mental Health Code, including those who receive Medicaid or those who are uninsured or under insured for mental health services. Services are designed individually using a person-centered approach, based on Region 10's clinical protocols, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and Medicaid guidelines and the individual situation. Services are provided by professionally trained and licensed personnel from a variety of human services fields.
